- ATSA: Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers.
Incorporated in 1984, the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers is a non-profit, interdisciplinary organization. ATSA was founded to foster research, facilitate information exchange, further professional education and provide for the advancement of professional standards and practices in the field of sex offender evaluation and treatment. ATSA is an international organization focused specifically on the prevention of sexual abuse through effective management of sex offenders.
- IATSO: International Association for the Treatment of Sexual Offenders.
IATSO was founded in 1998 in Caracas, Venezuela during the 5th International Conference on the Treatment of Sex Offenders. It is a international non-profit organization committed to the promotion of research of and treatment for sexual offenders throughout the world.
- CSOM: Center for Sex Offender Management's.
A Project of the Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice. Established in June 1997, the Center for Sex Offender Management's (CSOM) goal is to enhance public safety by preventing further victimization through improving the management of adult and juvenile sex offenders who are in the community. The Center for Sex Offender Management is sponsored by the Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice, in collaboration with the National Institute of Corrections, State Justice Institute, and the American Probation and Parole Association. CSOM is administered through a cooperative agreement between OJP and the Center for Effective Public Policy.
- Pandora's Box.
Pandora's Box provides a wide variety of information and links to information related to the prevention of child sexual abuse. Child Advocate and Health Care Consultant, Dr. Nancy Faulkner, advocates for the protection of children and prevention of child sexual abuse. Although not a survivor of abuse, Dr. Faulkner describes her commitment to protecting children as coming "from the tears and pain" of the many victims with whom she's worked.
- Safer Society Foundation.
Safer Society Foundation is dedicated to eliminating sexual abuse so that all of us may enjoy safer communities, healthier families and happier lives. Our work focuses on providing resources to help create safer communities through prevention and effective public policy, provide victims with healing and restitution, and provide offenders with the tools to be accountable for their actions and to work towards rehabilitation. We address sexual offending as a public health issue and support efforts to find and implement evidence-based best practices for prevention, treatment, supervision and public policy.
