Background
My first training as a mediator was more than 25 years ago. I've worked as a trainer, consultant and educator in the field of conflict resolution and victimology. I am currently in the School of Humanities, Religion and Social Sciences and a member of the faculty at the Center for Peacemaking and Conflict Studies of Fresno Pacific University. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Conflict Management and Peacemaking and am finishing a Ph.D. in Victimology from Tilburg University in Holland. I've consulted on a variety of cases including sexual harassment, families, schools, churches, and businesses. My present research and writing interests include the effects of mediation on victim recovery. I am married and have three adult children. My family and I lived and worked in Europe for almost ten years and I'm fluent in German.
